A magical time of year.

Leaves crisp underfoot.

Quiet evenings on the patio listening to Vince Guarldi.

Mugs overflowing with piping hot chocolate.

Aroma of baking cookies fills the air.

HOUSTON HEALTHY LIFESTYLE MEET-UP!

The holiday season, my favorite time of year,  LOOMS just around the corner. And with it, comes the ONSLAUGHT  of food....FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD! 

 For me, the holidays consume and overwhelm me.  In the past, my hectic schedule filled with holiday soirees, shopping, and family functions served as the perfect excuse for me to forget about my personal health goals. What about you my friends? Do you find staying focused during the months of November and December challenging?

HELP WANTED: help ME, save ME, from MYSELF!

I weighed in last week, and I noticed, since July, 7 extra pound found their way BACK! I KNOW, I KNOW...

I think subconsciously I surrendered, and I continue to just go through the motions of pretending to TRY with my weight loss efforts. My recent efforts explains my lack of blog posts. Who wants to blog about failing? It gets old and kinda of self-defeating after awhile.

Well, help IS on the way!
